The Threadfall Coordinator does exactly what the name suggests: coordinates everything. It is not the TC's responsibilty to write all of the emits and ideally shouldn't have to write any. The TC schedules each day/time for on-camera Threadfall, letting the designated group leaders know, as well as posting this information on various +bbs. The TC also plans where the 'fall will take place. If the location is PC, the Threadfall Coordinator will contact the appropriate area leaders; if the location is NPC, the TC will make sure that there is a room/desc ready. No matter who writes the emits, they all must go to the Threadfall Coordinator, who reads them, edits if necessary, and organizes them into an order that makes sense. The TC should be certain that the entirety of the 'fall is complete, with beginnings and endings. If anything is missing, the TC should fill in the gaps.
Once this is done, the TC is responsible for having a way to emit the emits, most likely through an emitter object. If this is the case, all emits will need to be loaded into the emitter, and all the code should be set, such as room #, speed of emits, etc. In the case of directly targeted emits, the TC must add in the names, or any other information. On the day of the Threadfall, the TC needs to be online and should be ready to go at the appointed time. He/She will need to run the emitters (or otherwise emit) throughout the 'fall. Afterwards, it is a nice gesture to do a +bbpost thanking those who helped and participated.
It is the designated group's job to come up with the emits for their scheduled Threadfall. A +mail will be sent to the group leaders (WiL/Wi2, HW, WLMs), informing them of what needs to be done and when. The group leaders may decide to write all of the emits themselves, or they can delegate some to the members of their group. The latter is most encouraged, but in any case, the leaders must write some emits, unless there are extenuating circumstances. If there is any reason why a leader cannot write emits, they must at least let the Threadfall Coordinator know, if possible. If a deadline is given for the emits, they must be submitted by that date, or it is likely that they will not be used, or the Threadfall may have to be rescheduled.
